The Coastal Rights Coalition is dedicated to promoting fair and transparent coastal regulations, which even-handedly implement the state mandate to protect both public access and private property rights along the coast guaranteed by the California Constitution and the California Coastal Act.
We support the co-equal goals of the protection of private property rights, and the public right of access to beaches, both enshrined in the Constitution of the State of California.

The Coastal Rights Coalition Inc. (CRC), is a legal nonprofit 501 c(4) with the primary goal of protecting and preserving private property rights of oceanfront homeowners in California. This coalition was formed and currently operated by volunteers. It was created and is driven by the desire to unify and curb the abusive tactics employed by the California Coastal Commission against property owners bordering the California coastline. To date, we have received letters of support from over 4,900 individuals, either directly or through their respective HOA’s.
